Female Seeks Sole Mate in Bloomington, Illinois For Sale

Price: $19
Type: Art & Antiques, For Sale - Private.

Classified ad says: Female seeks kind, warm, intelligent and generous professional male, preferably a doctor or small business owner, for companionship....and more? He must be willing to rub my feet and make my toes curl.
I know someone who may fit the bill. He beats the competition by a yard (or at least by a foot). He's not a heel either.
In xxxx after William M. Scholl left his home and twelve siblings in La Porte, Indiana, he came to Chicago to work at a small shoe store specializing in comfort. Scholl became so concerned with customers' painful foot conditions that he enrolled in medical school at Loyola University to study the anatomy and physiological dynamics of the foot.
By xxxx Scholl satisfied the requirements to become a doctor and patented his first foot care invention, an arch support, which would be followed by over 1,000 foot aid patents later in life. Dr. Scholl made it his mission to improve the health, comfort and well being of people through their feet by serving the entire spectrum of common foot conditions.
By xxxx Dr. Scholl and brother Frank founded Scholl Manufacturing Company in Chicago and expanded to London by xxxx before eventually establishing the company worldwide. Dr. Scholl served his Company until his death in xxxx, although he ended his capacity as a doctor treating patients with foot conditions in xxxx due to time constraints. So dedicated was Dr. Scholl to the treatment of feet that he never married and alas, never found his sole mate.
This genuine xxxx business memorandum is on the letterhead of Scholl Manufacturing Company and features a banner of Scholl foot products all the way down the left margin. The top features a vignette of a young woman holding her shoe in her hand, and the company identifies itself as a Manufacturer of Foot Specialties and Orthopedic Appliances with its main office and factory located in Chicago at 211-213 W. Schiller Street, which is three blocks directly north of Walter Payton High School in the Old Town neighborhood.
Vintage letterhead is on attention-grabbing harvest gold colored paper measuring 10 7/8 X 8 3/8 inches. Excellent condition.
