Job SummaryThe Patient Financial Services Manager supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by managing and providing administrative leadership and direction to ensure timely distribution of billing and collection activities in accordance with hospital policy; creating and fostering an environment that imparts to patients, physicians and other hospital departments professionalism and competence and ensuring department operations are complaint with applicable HIPPA requirements.Job QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Five years of progressive revenue cycle management experienceElectronic Medical Record (EMR) and billing experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferredRequired Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experienceThree years of progressive business office management experience in a hospital environmentGood working knowledge of all payer sources for hospital reimbursementThorough knowledge and intermediate to expert level experience in accounts receivable, billing and collection applicationsAble to perform financial analysis related to productivity, contract performance and accounts receivable performance metricsExcellent interpersonal communication with a demonstrated ability in performance management, coaching, team building and staff development and trainingExcellent customer service and problem solving skillsAble to adapt to change and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentThorough knowledge of PC based applications with intermediate to expert level experience in MS Office applications*Must pass pre-employment screeningCompany OverviewYavapai Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare provider that offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services.
