This is an original xxxx Martin 000-28 Vintage Series, serial number xxxx84, in exceptionally fine condition. The original finish shows almost no playing wear... just a few fingerprints and perhaps an insignificant ding or two. The Brazilian Rosewood sides and back have exceptionally nice figured wood grain. This is 1 of only 15 reportedly built 000's in xxxx as part of Martin's 150th year anniversary and signed on their special label (as seen in the close-up) by both of the then living C.F. Martins, C.F. III and the IV.
The neck is straight, the original frets show no wear, and the guitar plays and sounds great. This 000-28 Brazilian Martin has the standard 1 11/16-inches fingerboard width. The neck angle is perfect... no neck reset needed here! The guitar weighs only 4 pounds 5.6 ounces, and so is very resonant. This fine Martin guitar is very striking looking and stunning to play. It has no issues, and is fully original and comes in its original hardshell case.
