Young America is HIRING in our Non-Student Residential Department.
• Develop and execute a leasing & marketing strategy for rental units
• Identify, qualify, and secure prospective residents
• Encourage residents to engage in lease obligations that minimize economic days vacant
• Retain qualified residents and maximize renewal rent increases
• Maintain excellent resident relations through customer service. (Defending our "Best in Apartment Customer Service" record is important to us!)
• Work as part of the non-student leasing team to accomplish department objectives
• Conduct tours and showings of apartments and rental units to prospects
• Maintain online listings of available properties
• Keep accurate records and schedules of tours and showings
• Maintain accurate and timely prospect and applicant logs
• Work with other staff to ensure rental units are ready for showing/move-in
• Accept and process rental applications
• Conduct regular market studies of competing properties to determine market rent
• Submit work orders on all maintenance items discovered on tours in a timely fashion
• Entering all leasing documents and data entry within company accounting software
• Follow company & department process checklists for leasing, renewals, move-ins/outs
• Answer phones and emails in a timely manner to optimize leasing potential and customer service
• Coordinate with other staff to ensure office-front counter coverage during office hours
• Maintain a real estate leasing license
• Maintain proficiency within company software and MS office products
