TEKsystems has an opening for a Security Analyst in Systems Technology/Border Protection team. The area is searching for a strong Security Analyst with extensive firewall experience. The individual must have experience with Cisco and/or CheckPoint. In addition, the individual with have strong network design and protocol experience. The ideal candidate will have: 4 years experience in supporting Cisco and CheckPoint firewalls 4 years experience in network design 4 years experience in installing and configuring firewalls in brand new implementations 4 years experience with TCP/IP networking. 4 years experience with security 4 years experience in firewall technologies in general 2 to 4 years experience UNIX operating systems. 2 to 4 years experience in setting up and supporting VPNs 2 to 4 years experience in scripting languages such as Shell and Perl 2 to 4 years experience in network sniffers and packet analysis. **CISSP certificate is highly desired DESIRED SKILLS/QUALITIES: Strong customer service and results focus Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem resolution and decision making skills. Working both independently and in a team environment Ability to handle competing priorities.
